BlueFly Vario and Kobo Clara HD case

This is a 3D printed case for using with a Kobo Clara HD device and the BlueFlyVario TTL module, also has enough space for adding a bigger lipo battery.

.STL files can be found here.

-Take in mind this is a DIY project, 3D printed parts may need trimming and small corrections for fitting your device.
-It is fully recommended to have experience modiffing these devices and fitting general 3D printed parts.
-Also take in mind lipo batteries can easily produce fire and you need several knowledge managing these battery types before replacing/modifying them.
-This is only a 3D printed part assembling guide and not a fully device assembling guide.

I used the BlueFlyVario TTL v12 board for this project.

3D printed case Assembly:

1.-SuperGlue the 3D printed BFV case part into the 3D printed Kobo front part, the back of both cases must be perfectly levered and aligned.
Then insert the power button extender (red part)

2.-Fit the BFV button cap.

3.-Remove the original Kobo back lid (you will not use it any more) and fit the BFV board into the 3D printed case, then put the BFV lid into the back, leaving wires as pictured (probably you has only 4 wires in your setup). You can use some tape for holding the lid in place.

4.-Fit the Kobo into the 3D printed case, take your time and carefully push the kobo into the case without cracking the fragile screen. Then add the new battery if you use it.
Also you can add a small loop into the hole for securing the device in your cockpit.

5.-Fit the main back lid by using 6pcs M2x20mm bolts.
